Peasant dress pattern Little Red Riding Hood

The Portabellopixie Claire pattern became a Little Red Riding Hood Costume with a few modifications.

  • The sleeves and bodice were lengthen
  • A mock corset was added to the bodice panel prior to sewing the side seams
  • We shortened the length of the skirt to hit at the knee
  • We added a cute pigtailed little girl

  1. Thanks for sharing these Superior Snaps! One of my chicas trick-or-treated as Little Red Riding Hood one year. SITS sent me by, and I'm glad they did!

  3. Glenna, that is so cute! I wanted one of my girls to go as Little Red this year but they won't have it. They go as a princess every single year and this year won't be different. (If it's not raining)

  5. It turned out so well that a random lady whose house we were trick or treating at had Zoey wait while she went to get her camera! She also had her picture taken for the local newspaper while we were at the festival today. The costume was a great success!
